An Islamic culture quiz

Every answer with its source

Test what you know about the Quran, the Seerah, the Prophets, the Companions and Muslim history — alone, or with your family on one phone. Questions are reviewed by a scholar before they are published, and every answer comes with its verse, hadith or reference.

An example from the game: a question about the Hijrah, and the correct answer with the verse and its sources.

Trust comes first

One misquoted verse, or a weak hadith presented as authentic, is enough to break trust. So we follow strict rules:

  • Quran text from a trusted source

The Mushaf text is copied verbatim from the Tanzil project (Hafs from ʿĀṣim) and never typed by hand.

  • Hadith from Bukhari and Muslim only

Only Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, with the hadith number and a link to it.

  • Scholarly review before publication

No question is published without the reviewer’s approval, and every translation is checked by a fluent speaker.

  • When in doubt, leave it out

Nothing scholars differ on, no interpretive tafsir, no politics. Any correction is listed, with its date and reason, in the corrections log.

Three ways to play

Solo, level by level

Each level has 10 questions. Earn up to three stars — one is enough to unlock the next level.

Themed challenges

Games put together by the Daleel team around one theme, such as the Ramadan challenge, to play whenever you like.

A family match on one phone

2 to 6 players, each with their own difficulty and questions. Pass the phone around — names are never kept after the match.

An example from a family match: the “Pass the phone” screen before the next player’s turn.

Topics

In each topic, levels to unlock one by one — with new levels added regularly.

  • The Quran
  • The Seerah
  • The Prophets
  • The Companions
  • History & civilization
  • Pillars of Islam

For young and old

  • Three difficulty levels

Easy for children, with only three choices; Medium and Hard for adults. Each difficulty keeps its own stars and progress.

  • At your own pace

Relaxed mode is on from the start: no timer in solo play. Turn it off in Settings if you like racing the clock. Matches are always timed.

  • In Arabic, French and English

Questions are written in Arabic first, then translated and checked, with a “Show in Arabic” button. The Quran text always stays in Arabic.

  • Easy to read

Adjustable text size, a dark theme and clear contrast.
